Kathmandu - Chitwan trip is the best holiday package to experience the wilderness nature of the famous Chitwan National Park and to enjoy the natural beauty of Nepal.

The trip will take you to the famous Chitwan National Park of Nepal which is best known for the Jungle safari activities and adventure journey into the Chitwan National Park on the back of Elephant ride or 4WD vehicle.

The former Royal Chitwan National Park is the first national park of Nepal. It was established in 1973 and declared the World Heritage Site in 1984. It covers the area of 932 sq. km. and situated in the southern part of Nepal near the border with India. The park extends from 100m to 815m of altitude. One-horned Rhinoceros and the Royal Bengal tiger are the major attraction of this Chitwan National Park. However, the park is the natural home of over 700 species of flora and fauna. You can see the various wild animals and birds playing around the park during your Chitwan trip.

There are 7 world class resorts and hotels running inside the Chitwan National Park and many nice hotels outside the park. Accommodation and meals are easily managed during the Chitwan trip in Nepal.

The Chitwan trip starts from Kathmandu. The total distance from Kathmandu to Chitwan is approx. 175 km and the road condition is good. You will drive on the Tribhuvan Highway from Kathmandu to Naubise to the west. From Naubise, you will continue drive on the Prithvi Highway up to Narayanghat. Then it continues on Mahendra Highway to the destination. Mahendra Highway which is also called East-West Highway that connects Nepal from East to the west. The total driving time is approx. 5 to 6 hour.

You will be picked up at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu during your arrival time. We will manage your Chitwan trip package according to your time period available in Nepal. The Chitwan trip can be done from 3 days to more according to your request. We will also transfer you to the airport for your departure day.

Outline itinerary for Kathmandu to Chitwan Trip

Day 01: Kathmandu to Chitwan Sauraha ( 163km) 5 hours

Get ready after your breakfast. You will picked up from your Hotel for your Chitwan tour. Drive to Chitwan by Sedan Car, Jeep or Hiace (as per your group size) driving road goes along with Trisuli river, you may stop at Mata Manakamana temple while driving to Chitwan. We drive from Kathmandu- Galchhi-Malekhu-Muglin-Narayanghat- Sauraha. Drop to your Hotel in Chitwan. You may enjoy dinner with Tharu cultural Show (arrange by hotel)

Day 02: Jungle Activities in Chitwan National Park

Full-day Jungle Activities Morning enjoy Canoe ride at Rapti river to see water birds and Crocodile. After Canoe ride, you will enjoy Elephant briefing and breeding center. In the afternoon, you will enjoy Elephant back safari to see wildlife of Nepal. Today highlight will be spotting one horn Rhino in dense forest. If you are lucky then you can also see Tiger. After safari you will be back at hotel. Lunch, Dinner & Overnight at Hotel in Chitwan ( free day for vehicle. No service) all the packages arrange by hotel.

Day 03: Chitwan to Kathmandu ( 165km) 5 hours

After having the breakfast drive back to Kathmandu through the bank of the Trsuli river and amazing views of hills, Overnight at Kathmandu Hotel.
